The truth is that even people who have survived depression may not be sympathetic to the mental illness of others. In other words, people who suffered from depression might prefer to have a normal dinner.

Most humans want to live an uncomplicated life. Bad things happened to bad people. Strange things happen to strangers. You are my friend. You have a similar lifestyle or education as me. You can't be mentally ill, right?
