The sticker shock comment was a meant as a joke.

It is that feeling when you see the prices on the menu and they are higher than your monthly salary.

You are not sure if the prices are a scam, a joke, a mistake, etc.

At that point, you feel detached from reality and are no longer hungry. A 300 dollar mark up has the same effect on me. :)
