The issue is that the Trump supporters know that the "problem" is always with the Democrats. Trump supporters who chosen to be blind to their faults while complaining about the other side. Even when they were in power.
It is like an abusive relationship where one party is blaming the other party for everything. There was no Mea Culpa, self reflection or even a line in the sand (Except for Mitt Romney & John Mccain).
