It is not that people are against trans people. There are some haters.

One is how to handle them. I was incorrectly informed that gay males are immoral people when I was young (Decades ago). So you can imagine my unease when I was working with them even though I knew factually they were identical to me physically. Humans want a simple explanation. I know that it is not possible to list all the differences, so it is a headache to learn that the movement is gaining more letters. There is a reason for the plus sign.

The second point is compassion fatigue. I was moving from one office to another office recently. Only to discover that a number of my colleagues had "invisible" disability. I am not a doctor so I could not prove a thing. It meant more work for the abled body people. Workaholism is also a problem, but you seldom hear their coworkers complain about them.
