It is not that gurus make excuses for society. The problem is that many capitalists now want to change the name of their occupation. It is like the ancient person who invented Yoga did not have a hand in causing the creation of overpriced Yoga studios. It is easier to telling other people to buy an app (or jump on the latest band wagon) than to take care of others. If I can benefit from your investment in health, you are going to be "donating" blood for the good of "others".

My analogy would be in that age of gas guzzlers, telling people about ensuring the tyres are inflated correctly and charging for the advice is a rip off. And no, charging me ten bucks for an app to remind me to inflate the tyres is not worth it.
