Interesting perspective although I am not sure I enjoyed it. The smiling Edgar Allan Poe made me recall Altered Carbon and the creepy AI hotel caretaker. I prefer a narrative that Edgar Allan Poe was a struggling writer who revealed the pain in his soul via his writing. To be fair, I understand he also wrote humorous articles that I never read.
