I think one way to think about retirement is look at people you admire like some sports stars. They became coaches or businessmen. Or play in the senior circuit. Or be paid to comment or write about the sport.

For those who did a bad job in retirement, there is a lot to learn too. Hitting the bottle will not work. Going back in the ring after retirement is usually a bad idea.

I also agree on the passion and interest. We need to be more than your job and paycheck.
