I need to point out that while I support factchecking sites, we also have to remember that those site are like Walter Cronkite. They might not always be there. They also can be hacked.

The important thing to remember is that we are human. Never to make decisions when emotional. That it is ok to change one's mind. It is ok to say that you are wrong. Nobody's batting average is perfect.
