I hate to say this but university is not fair.

In my first year, I spoke to a fellow project mate only to discover that she had done two years in a similar course in another country but was now starting anew. I kept an open mind. We must allow people to have a fresh start.

Then in my second year, I found out that some of my course mates were working on their second degree. I also felt it was unfair. Still going by the rules of the game, they qualified.

In my final year, I took an advanced course. This time my fellow course mate was one of my tutors (from another course). There was never any competition as she was more brilliant than me. But it still felt that the competition was unfair.

Which brings me to my point. University is not fair as different people have different starting lines. Is paying for a place fair? Is using sports to get into the university fair? Mother did the homework?

Or in my case, Big Brother needed more trained people so dump me in that course.
