I am disappointed that the truth about Walden prison is not mentioned. There is a Unit A and Unit B.

The more pleasant environment is in Unit B.

Unit A has more restriction.

If the prisoner will continue to misbehave in Unit A, they will be transferred out.

This is still a carrot and stick situation. The carrot is sweeter and tastier. I agree that prisons should not be a stick. But you still need to have sticks.
