I am concern that this "patriotism" is a cover for supporting violence (Or oppression). It is like fans of dog fighting insisting that they are dog lovers. They support a healthy diet, regular exercise, etc without explaining their motive. And some dog or soldier is going to pay the price for the fiction. And once they have outlived their usefulness, they will be forgotten.
