I always feel the creative label is overrated. People use the term to describe solutions they like the solution and know they are not able to produce it. It is similar to terms like artistic or naturally athleticism. Nice things that only other people can do.

Whenever I hear people describe my ideas or solutions as creative, I usually want to tell them that the idea was in oven or skunk works for years.
