Hospital food of which generation?

I grew up with hospital food looking like a punishment for being sick. Nobody healthy wanted to share your food.

Then when I started working, I saw hospital food improved to look like normal cafeteria food. Sometimes great, most time edible.

Today, hospital food looks like something you get at a hotel. Probably sharing the same catering facilities. I would have mooched the food if they were not my family members.
