Cryptocurrency is another toy of the tech companies. It is like Parler claiming to be for free speech. And then discovering that free speech was stored on Amazon servers or now Russian servers. It is like the social media companies arguing about free speech and then changing their minds when the winds of public opinion change. Or outsource the unprofitable components to other unknown third parties. That their CEOs will never sell their stakes or sell out? Never changed their minds when they are rich and influential?
